Review stock loading, cutting, receiving and palletizing as one connected process.

1. Map the current process

Record how stock arrives, where it is stored and how it reaches the saw. Include incoming stock length, bundle arrangement and available loading space.

2. Define the finished part

Part length, weight and shape help determine receiving and transfer requirements. Note whether parts must be sorted, grouped or protected from surface damage.

3. Review the workshop layout

Share a floor plan with the available space, access routes and the next production operation. Discuss the proposed arrangement with the technical team before fixing the equipment layout.

4. Agree the system scope

Clarify which steps belong to the proposed line and which remain with the existing process. Confirm the machine configuration, interfaces and acceptance requirements in the technical proposal.
